NADINE DJOURY

Actor. Comedian. writer.

Nadine is an actor, improviser and writer based in Toronto.  

Nadine is currently a member of Second City's Mainstage Company where she wrote and performed three critically acclaimed revues. She was previously a member of Second City's Touring and Family companies, earning her a Dora Award nomination for Best Ensemble for Super Dude vs. Doctor Rude. 

After being inspired by her sister's experience with motherhood, she co-created, wrote and starred in ABC.com/CBC Comedy's web series, Newborn Moms alongside Aurora Browne. The show was nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Original Series and Best Performance and was named one of the 16 Best Web Series of 2016 by IndieWire. 

Her short film, Good Girls, co-written with Aimee Ambroziak won the WIFT-BravoFact Pitch Competition and screened at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival. And most recently, their TV show concept, Hudson Heights, was selected as one of five projects pitched at the CBC Originals pitch panel at Just For Laughs. 

TV and film credits include Workin' Moms, Minority Report and Lost Girl. You can also catch Nadine making up funnies on the spot with improv troupe YOUR KIDS at Bad Dog Theatre. 

​Nadine was born and raised in Montreal, graduated from McGill University, and knows how to swear in French.
